Even though she doesn't speak the same language as humans, Woody is understood by everyone and has a real star quality.

Teasing and playful, she loves betting and challenging her friends.

Woody moves slowly on his feet but flies and swims quickly.

With her lovely voice, she knows how to make herself heard when she needs to.

During 2016, my mum spotted me among lots of other penguin cuddly toys.

It was love at first sight! As it was during the Cannes Film Festival, she thought of a name that would allow me to play both male and female roles, and above all to have a star name!

When I was growing up, I used to watch my mum making jewellery for cuddly toys. She used to make necklaces for us on which she wrote her e-mail address, so that if we went for a walk too far away, we could ask someone to contact our mum to find her. Luckily we never needed it.

But all this gave me an idea! My big brother Gabuche used to look after me a lot when I was little. He creates cuddly toy jewellery in the world of cuddly toys and he's very talented.

As I feel that cuddly toys are not given the recognition they deserve in the human world, I decided to encourage Gabuche to expand his business.

When Ambre and Doerian saw Gabuche, they realised just how much potential your world has to offer. They asked me to look after communications and be their project manager.

Their job is to bring ancestral cuddly toys back to life and educate them to become handmade, or rather pawmade, collector's cuddly toys!

I agreed and took the opportunity to hire Flèche, who is passionate about packaging and sharing happiness.

I look after communication and the management of our team. I'll always do my best to offer you the best possible service!

Curious by nature, he enjoys making new discoveries and loves to create while listening to classical music at the top of his lungs.

He has to wear a bell to make it easier for his fellow animals to escape, otherwise Mum confiscates his scalpels.

When asked why he makes these creations, he replies: ‘To ~~dominate the human world!~~ ...that my creations bring happiness to the human race, of course...’

Raaaaah, I've got too much work to deal with communications! So... I'm Ambre, but in the world of science and fear I'm called Ambreinstein.

Ever since I was little I've been very curious, and I started by studying books and documentaries, but none of them gave me what I was really looking for. It's all very well to know how a cuddly toy's foam works, but I want to know how to create it, modify it, make it evolve, give it life! So I quickly switched to plushenapping.

Of course I never hurt the stuffed animals, I just traumatise them. But that's the science of it, you have to know how to tie tight knots while you study a stuffed animal, and prepare a nice snack for it when you let it go and it's calmed down.

Mum gave me a necklace with a bell on it.... so people could hear me coming. It's rubbish, but I've developed my chloroform traps, hehe.

And thanks to all this work I can finally create life! OK, so some of my creations have anger management issues. But I don't always know what kind of bones we're going to find with Doerian when we're looting cemeteries, and our machine, which is supposed to give a correct ratio of intelligence, empathy and love, is a bit out of kilter... On top of that, we like to drink arsenic while we work...

Why do I want to share my creatures with humans?

Well, to trap you and dominate your world of course... When I've done enough I activate them with my secret formula and then...hehehe... you'll see I'm a genius!!!

A thrill-seeker, Doerian loves challenges that require a combination of speed and fighting. But that doesn't stop him from being very protective and loving with his protégés.

He doesn't much like school, but he's an excellent teacher! Disciplined, Doerian makes a point of respecting his 3 snack breaks a day.

My role as guardian of the creatures is to ensure that they flourish and evolve in a safe space that provides them with as much love as possible and lots of treats.

I give them lessons in kindness, naughtiness, cuddly toy culture and a bit of human culture, plastic art, anger management and/or self-management and lots more. I also teach them to say thank you when they need to and forgive them when they get into mischief. It's true that some are easier to look after than others, but they are all real little treasures.

It's not always easy for them to understand the subtleties of life, for example when I encourage them to do plays, the Egyptian Chirewai sends flowers that she has picked from the stage, but only the stems because she has eaten the petals, the Shaolin Kalūlū gives a bouquet of flowers while reciting a meditation and the combat Atůhlů throws pots of flowers.... Everyone encourages and congratulates in their own way, it's just that some have more painful encouragement than others.

Despite having his paws sewn backwards, Gabuche manages to create marvels. As his whiskers are not symmetrical, he has trouble finding his way around and often gets lost.

He goes to the wrong workshop or room, but that's no problem, as it's a good opportunity to have a bamboo juice with another cuddly toy.

He loves to chat.

Could a cuddly toy embellish this cape?

Could a human embellish this piece of jewellery? I always ask myself these questions when I'm creating an accessory or a piece of jewellery, because the principle behind my creations is that they're even more beautiful when they're worn by you or a cuddly toy.

I love the idea of sharing life's little treasures, which is why I try as much as possible to make mixed accessories and jewellery.

Most of the earrings, necklaces, hairpins and even crowns you'll see on collectible plushies can be worn by a human!

It's very important for me to create a link between your future creature and you, its human.

Together with one of my older sisters, I run a soft toy shop. Seeing them wearing my creations with big smiles fills my heart with joy.

Since then, I've taken up sewing so that I can accessorise the cuddly toys I collect as they should be. By making their capes or hats. However, I leave the cleaning of the bones to Ambre and Doerian, I say it's because I've got too much work to do, but in reality I have the impression that I can see them moving and that their ghosts are having fun scaring me... I don't want to go near them!

When people are sad

With his heart on his sleeve and his inability to say no, he often gets caught up in unexpected situations. Because they see the positive in everything, they always have fun and are never bored.

With his brothers Vif and Seyth, they love ‘treasures’ and play pirates or brigands to ‘steal from no-one but find somewhere and give to anyone’.

Flèche doesn't really live in the same reality as the others: when you ask him a question you always end up with an answer you didn't expect, but that's why it's fun to talk to him. He has a very high-pitched voice, so you can't always understand what he's saying, but he usually wants kisses.

Today, Vif and Seyth and I found lots of treasures and hid them all in our pirate ship. That way, on Thursday we can give it all away to the cuddly toys!

What's really great is that I've found some pretty ribbons that I'm going to use to wrap Gabuche's creations. What's more, Mum has given me some new markers, so I'll be able to make some pretty words and drawings.

The weather's nice and warm, I think we're going to go and play on the swing, then it's time for breakfast, then a snack, and after that it's time to take care of the day's orders, I have to cut little hearts out of my pretty paper and I promise I'll do everything really well and I'll put lots of kisses on the parcel to make sure it gets to you.

When the orders are finished, I'll have lunch and then either play again or help Woody Grace, Doerian, Gabuche or Ambre.

People always give me lots of sweets to thank me. Sweets are really good. I share everything with Vif and Seyth, my favourite sweets are the blueberry ones, they make your tongue all purple, it's fun. Do you like blueberry sweets too?

Generally when human children grow up, they are told ‘it's not your age any more’, for all sorts of things. Mum has often heard that too, but she's never taken it on board. Since she was very young, she's loved us dearly and can't do without us. After all, love at a certain age?

Hello humans?

Phew, I've finally got a few minutes to introduce myself.

Earlier, I ran after Ambre and Doerian so that they could free Pilou, their little brother. The poor thing had fallen into one of their traps.

Then I had to explain to Arrow why Leodagan (an Amber creature) prefers to throw grenades rather than sweets.

Pokoli wanted me to read her a bedtime story and Gabuche couldn't find his jacket (which had been stolen by Shinai).

Finally I stepped on a Tchi-tcho toy and had to pretend it wasn't my fault but Valentin's when he found it broken (oh well, I'll find another one).

So let me introduce myself, I'm the mum of all these little monsters. When Amber and Doerian started their experiments to create life, I thought it was brilliant! What's more, I have to keep an eye on them so they don't blow things up and ... Yes ? What's up Tsuki? Is Venus still bothering you? All right, I'm coming, I'll go and get your cuddly toy.

Yes, Elias, so we'll go and make some biscuits together, chocolate ones of course! We'll have to hide them from Öko and Dabou, hehe.
